Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
By installing and utilizing the NxtGenEcom Image Optimizer application ("App"), you agree to abide by these Terms of Service.
1. License & Credit Usage
We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your verified Shopify store. Processing operations consume monthly plan credits according to your active tier. Monthly allocations reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.
2. Service Scope & Liability
The App provides automated image optimization, AI metadata generation, and styling tools. While operations are executed with strict precision, NxtGenEcom shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from automated processing or application downtime.
3. Backups & Restore Window
Pre-optimized original images are stored in secure cloud storage for up to 30 days to support the one-click "Restore Original" feature. It remains the merchant's responsibility to verify processed outputs and request restores within this 30-day window.
4. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Navi Mumbai / Mumbai, India.
NxtGenEcom ("we", "our", or "us") operates the NxtGenEcom Image Optimizer Shopify application. This Privacy Policy outlines our practices concerning the collection, usage, and safeguarding of information when you install and use our App on your Shopify store.
1. Information We Collect
Store & Account Data: We securely synchronize your Shopify store domain, store owner name, and email address to manage your account, authenticate API requests, and handle subscription billing.
Media & Catalog Data: We access product images, collection covers, and blog imagery solely to execute your requested transformations (such as compression, AI alt text generation, resizing, and watermarking). Original image files are backed up securely for 30 days to facilitate the "Restore Original" feature.
2. Data Retention & Erasure
We retain your data only for the duration of your active installation. If you uninstall the application or submit an official GDPR/CCPA data erasure request through Shopify, your store records, access tokens, and stored cloud backups are permanently purged from our databases within 48 hours.
